Kentucky Trip – Glenns Ferry, Idaho

Well we made it to Glenns Ferry Idaho today! We left the house at 8 am and arrived here at about 5:30 pm local time. What a beautiful place. Right on the snake river with perfectly blue skies. The evening was brisk but we got some wood from the camp attendant and started up a quick fire. Chris cooked sloppy tacos on the camp stove and setup the tent. Elizabeth ran around on the grasslands and enjoyed her first camping experience. We roasted marshmallows over the fire and made smores. Right now we are roughing it in the tent on a pillow top self infalting matress, elizabeth is watching a DVD movie, and I am posting this through my cell phone internet connection on my laptop. Here are a few pictures to keep you up to date…we will try to post more as we travel along.

HI you guys! The marshmellow picture is so precious. Glad you didn’t freeze. Hope you enjoyed Yellowstone today (Mon). It is such an amazing place. Hope you get to see a lot of big game as well as the gysers and hot pots. We miss you. This is a great way to keep connected. Love, Mom
